We understand how much love a dog can bring to a home. We have 3 dogs of our own. Pictured above are our Toy American Eskimo "Sierra" and our Yellow Lab "Jasmine". We also have a Malti-Poo named "Chloe". Sierra is the boss, Chloe is the trouble maker, and Jasmine just wants to be loved!

First, we always recommend you check your local animal shelter. If you are unable to find a pet that fits your families needs, then and only then do we want you to shop with us.

About us

Plano pets is a family owned, full line pet store. In 2006, Chip and Dianna Beitel decided to leave their successful careers in Executive Management and Law to pursue their dream of owning their own business. Together with Delores Ezell, they purchased Plano Pets in early 2007. Their business philosophy is "The Pets Come First". Every employee is empowered to say NO to any sale when they believe the animal will not receive proper care. Plano Pets purpose is to enrich the lives of pets and their owners by providing quality pets, pet products, and service after the sale.

We have kittens too!

We often have rescue Kittens. Most of our Kittens are rescues that come to us in a variety of ways. Some are abandoned, some are from unexpected litters, and some come to us in need of special care. We bring them up to good health, vaccinate, and provide preventative de-worming's. We do our best to take in rescue kittens, even when shelters won't. Our adoption fee is used to cover Medications, Vaccinations, De worming, Food, Litter, Veterinarian expense, and daily care. Plano Pets highly recommends you spay or neuter your pet.
